New Feature Alert: Apple Health Integration is Now Live!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of a brand-new feature on the Sesh Fitness App: Apple Health Integration! This exciting update allows you to seamlessly incorporate your macros, weight, and other health data from the apps you're already using, such as MyFitnessPal, Withings, MacrosFirst, Fitbit, and more.

Currently Synced: Weight, Macros, Fiber and Cardio.

NOTE: You will see 'workouts' as an option to sync. That is synced with 'Cardio' in your check-in. When you log things like running and jogging you'll see it in the Cardio section of your check-in. The 'workouts' in your check-ins are still workouts you complete within the Sesh App.

Coming Soon: Sleep and Steps

You can provide access now, or at any time, to seamlessly integrate once auto-import is released. However, you can now begin manually entering your step count into your app via the check-in tab!

How to Get Started

Getting started with Apple Health integration is easy! Here’s how:

  1. Open the Sesh Fitness App.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Health’ tile at the top of your Today screen.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect and toggle “all on”.

Make sure you’ve connected any other necessary apps to your Health app already to sync all your tracking data seamlessly. If you use My Fitness Pal, make sure to check out our note below.

You will see your synced information reflected in your check-in the following day. Plus, all of your synced data will be visible by your coach automatically! Easily review your auto-logged data by viewing past check-ins.

Important Notes to Remember for Commonly Used Apps

MyFitnessPal or MacrosFirst

When you update your shared settings it could automatically reset your settings to add your workout calories back into your goals, you'll want to ensure that is turned off if you're working with a coach or utilizing our macro calculator.

FitBit or Other

You will want to utilize a syncing app to connect your google fitbit with your apple health. If you search within the app store there are several popular options

Need Help Integrating Your Apps?

We’ve made it easy to connect, but if you need a little extra help, here are a few tips:

  • Ensure your other health and fitness apps are connected to the Apple Health App (ex. MyFitnessPal, Withings, FitBit, MacrosFirst, etc.
  • Double-check the permissions in your settings to make sure Sesh has access to the data it needs.
  • Refresh your Apple Health app to ensure you see the relevant data from each of your apps.
